This short work for 23 dancers presents a classical ballet mash-up, where the birds and princes of ballet converge in a common forest. Juxtaposing the stories of Swan Lake and Firebird with visual imagery of the romantic ballets of Giselle and Les Sylphides, "Les Oiseaux" presents modern audiences with a barefoot, contemporary ballet on fast forward.
