The Anatomy of Doubt

Originally choreographed in 1990, and inspired by the movie "Drowning by Numbers", directed by Peter Greenaway, the piece takes off from the director's comment that "the emancipation of the female is the most significant development of the latter half of the twentieth century". Told as a series of movement vignettes for nine dancers and a live accordion player, the piece tells the story of the struggles inherent within this development, through humour and pathos.
