MOVE: the company to perform at the Quinzena de Danca de Almada Festival in Portugal

MOVE: the company has been invited to present “Mermaid Parade”, choreographed by Josh Beamish, at the Quinzena de Dance de Almada Festival in Portugal on 17th of September at the Auditório Fernando Lopes Graça. The company will also tour this duet work to Paio Pires and Odivelas on the 15th and 19th of September. Company member Jacqui Lopez will make her debut performance in the role originated by Cristina Graziano, currently of Ballet Jorgen Canada, alongside Artistic Director, Josh Beamish. “Mermaid Parade” has previously performed at Correspondanse in Quebec City, Dancing on the Edge in Vancouver and at the Performance Mix Festival/Joyce SoHo in New York. These performances will also mark MOVE: the company’s European performance debut.
