Under the direction of Josh Beamish, MOVE: the company is a contemporary dance company committed to the creation and performance of original choreographic works by both emerging and established artists. The company's principal focuses are to support the development of the contemporary dance community in Vancouver and British Columbia and to include varied collaborators through involvement in the creative process. MOVE: the company is dedicated to the presentation of new, challenging and exciting works and promises to provide a performance experience the audience won't soon forget.
Your donation will help us to:
- Create original Canadian choreography by our Artistic Director Josh Beamish and various other guest choreographers.
- Establish opportunities for emerging Vancouver, BC and Canadian choreographers to enhance their artistry and produce their works.
- Facilitate the continued growth of many of the most talented dance artists in British Columbia.
- Present exciting and innovative performances in the lower mainland and across Canada.
- Tour internationally for the purpose of promoting Canadian arts and culture to audiences worldwide.
- Educate youth in the fields of arts and culture by touring British Columbian schools through the ArtStarts Program.
