Choreographer, Past Interpretive Artist

Born and raised in Vancouver, Amber received her training with Goh Ballet Academy, Arts Umbrella and Ballet BC's Mentor Program.  As an independent dance artist Amber has worked with several Vancouver based choreographers and companies, such as Movent, Lola dance, LINK Dance, Karen Jamieson Dance, Judith Marcuse Projects and Marta Marta House of Pride to name a few.  As a choreographer, Amber has had her worked presented in several Vancouver theatres and spaces as well as internationally at the Chapter arts Centre in Cardiff, Wales.  She is inaugural recipient of the Iris Garland Emerging Choreographer as well as the 2007 winner of the Holy Body Tattoo Emerging Dance Artist Award.  Amber is also the Artistic Director of her own newly established company, the response.  www.responsedance.blogspot.com
